Let’s start this off with saying, I’ve never been a huge animal lover. But, almost 4 years ago i bought a house, and shortly after-wards i really wanted a kitty, I’d always grown up with cats and I thought that’s just what Kayleigh and I needed. We brought home LEXIE:
Lexie has been such a sweet and loving kitty but boy is she protective over her home. As far as other animals she doesn’t like them. I’ve tired kittens, a little puppy but no luck. She won’t have it and I feel so uncomfortable with keeping them close we’ve had to find new homes, and eventually with MADDOX:
we had to fence in the yard and now we have made him a home in our huge back yard, that he wouldn’t have any other way. He enjoys being able to run freely and play tug a war whenever so we are pleased with having him back there. He also enjoys his little mansion of a dog house, Chris worked so hard on.
now there has been added touches. He has an extended side for shade and a covering porch over the front so water doesn’t run into it. We decided to try and foster for awhile and possibly keep a yorkie. Someone was unable to take care of it b/c medical issues and we thought we’d see how Lexie would take to him. He is 4 years old, so around the same age as Lex and hasn’t barked once.
Meet biscuit. He is so loving and just seems like all he needs is love. Lexie so far has done exceptionally well considering her past. They even went nose to nose last night and she didn’t hiss. I was so happy I probably could have cried. Well biscuit we promise to love you just as we do the other two. I hope you enjoy being a part of our family as much as I do.
